There will come a time that an individual is gonna need to offer new things to its society, company or wherever he/she is a leader, manager or whatsoever that his/her leadership is required. He/She needs to cope up to any changes and must learn new things.

Jane Goldner
leadership consulting

Re: The Future of Procurement:implications for leadership

very good article, current and relevant. Mastering technology (e.g. and utilizing "big data") probably figure into one's continuing to develop the procurement SME skillset side, but on being a coach...I'm all ears.

Re: The Future of Procurement:implications for leadership

Excellent critique. I very much like the discursive element you bring to the debate "if procurement leadership is genuinely going to transition to Mena’s set of admirable qualities (and, I suggest, even this is not yet a comprehensive list), they will need to be encouraged or coerced to engage in personal development at a level of change that hitherto has not been seriously considered as necessary" This is because many leaders in Procurement and other functions too Marketing immediately springs to mind don't want to get out of the comfy chair. It's not about being on the board or being taken seriously it is about a new mind-set!

Re: Reflections on the recent NLP Conference in London….

I attended too and was very inspired by how well it was organized.

Re: To touch, or not to touch?

Excellent article!
